Summary

About OneSky Community Resources

OneSky Community Resources is a Penticton-based non-profit society serving the South Okanagan and Similkameen regions for more than 60 years. Beyond its core programs in early childhood development, youth and family support, community living, senior wellness, and counselling, OneSky also owns and operates affordable rental housing through its housing arm, OneSky Housing Society.

OneSky's flagship housing project is The Rise, a 56-unit moderate-income rental building in downtown Penticton at 285 Nanaimo Avenue West. Studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom units are offered, including seven accessible suites. The Rise was developed in partnership with Catalyst Community Developments, BC Housing, and the City of Penticton, and serves moderate-income workforce households. It is one of very few moderate-income rental projects in the south Okanagan.

The Rise uses an income-band model (income floor plus ceiling), placing it in the same workforce/attainable category as Society of Hope's Income Conscious tier and Langford Attainable. Applications are accepted directly through OneSky's property manager.

OneSky is governed by a community board and is registered as a Canadian charity.
