Comox Valley Affordable Housing Society (CVAHS), originally founded in 1990 as Courtenay Low Income Housing, owns and operates Lions Valley View Estates (built with Lions Club support) plus additional affordable rental housing across the Comox Valley (Black Creek, Merville, Saratoga Beach, Comox, Courtenay, Cumberland, Royston, Union Bay, Buckley Bay, Denman Island, Hornby Island, and Fanny Bay). CVAHS also runs the Comox Valley and North Island Rent Bank, providing 0% interest rent crisis loans of up to 36-month repayment. Intake is direct via the Society.
